【授業の概要／Course description】
This course will focus on the 20th century history of Japan and Southeast Asia (SEA). Through an exploration of Japan’s relations with SEA and Japanese involvement in this region, we will pay close attention to the development of each region. 20世紀の日本史と東南アジア史。日本や日本人の東南アジア関与にも触れますが、それぞれの地域の異なる展開も学びます。

【授業実施方法に係る追加情報／Additional information concerning the class format】
This course will be conducted in English, but please do not worry too much about your English proficiency. Japanese texts will also be provided, but even if you are unable to read Japanese, you need not worry. 英語での授業ですが、あまり英語の流暢さは問いません。また、日本語のテキストも配布しますが、受講生の一部が日本語を読めなくても気にしません。
